The Holidays Are Coming!

Hello all:

Wow- it's November already and the holiday gift giving season is upon us once again! We have a nice selection of collectible coins, currency and other unique items, whether it's for yourself for that special collector on your gift giving list. We also have some unadvertised specials in house, as well as gift certificates that are available in any amount. Christmas silver rounds have arrived... pop in early for the best selection.

In the bullion and bullion-related arena, it's been a challenge keeping items in stock due to all the demand... but as we write this we do currently have some 90% silver coinage available along with some circulated silver dollars for all you stackers. Silver bullion in bar and round form has been spotty in availability due to demand and high turnover, but we do have some small size American Eagle gold as of this writing. Stop in or call us for info on what is currently available. First come, first served.

In the area of coin supplies, we have a good variety of the most sought after items. Some items are still suffering shortages but we will keep you informed as to what's available. Dansco is starting to loosen up with some of the more popular coin album titles but some are still short or unavailable as they try to resume production. We advise coming in early for the best selection from what we have in house.

September Update

Hello All!

Things have been hectic here at WLRC but we thought we'd pause to give you just a few updates. 

We have the following 2022 US Mint products in stock. Proof Sets, Silver Proof Sets, Uncirculated (Mint) Sets, S-Mint Proof Silver Eagles, Negro League Baseball Commemoratives, and Purple Heart Commemoratives. We've also acquired some more silver bullion, 90% silver coins and some US Gold along with some miscellaneous vintage silver dollars, type, large and small cents, and some world coins. The turnover has been huge-particularly on all the precious metals related items- so swing by to see what we currently have on offer. First come, first served, no holds. We also have our vintage proof set 5-packs back in stock ahead of the holiday season. Each lot has 5 different dates. Only $30 per lot! We also have our starter packs of various US and world coins back in stock. Great for stuffing that stocking! Get a head start on your holiday shopping while the selection is still good!

Just a reminder- All prices quoted by us on bullion and related items are cash/debit card prices only. A 3.5% fee will be added if a credit card is used due to small margins and increased card processor fees. This fee goes to them, not us. As stated in a previous blog, we tried to hold off on this as long as possible but the realities of the market dictate that we must now charge the fee, as does every other business. Thanks for your understanding. No fee with debit cards!

We will be closed Monday, September 5th for Labor Day and will reopen Tuesday, September 6th.

2022 Proof Silver Eagles Etc.

Hello!

We now have a small quantity available of 2022-W Proof Silver Eagles. First come, first served, one coin limit per customer. These were already sold out before issue due to enrollments and as of this writing it appears no more of these will be made due to silver planchet shortages. In our opinion instead of making silver Zachary Taylor medals no one wants, they should use those planchets for Proof Silver Eagles. There is an S mint version Proof Silver Eagle scheduled for later in the summer but no date certain on that from the US Mint as yet. It's still on the schedule so we can only assume they will be struck. Release date on silver 2022 proof sets looks to be June 23. Check back for more updates!

2022 Proof Sets Have Arrived!

Hello once again!

2022 regular proof sets are here at last. Get yours while they're here! The silver versions will arrive in late June according to the Mint. American Innovation 4-coin proof sets will also be available in June, scheduled for a release on the 7th of that month. More updates on US Mint issues as we get them. 

There are a few new price structures from Dansco, Whitman, Air Tite, Lead Dog and Harris. Contact us or stop in for details and availability. We have a decent stock at present of the more commonly used supply items and strive to maintain same. Updates on new products, discontinued items, changes etc. will be forthcoming as we receive them.

2022 Products Update And More

Hello Everyone!

We're just giving you a quick update. The Mint is releasing 2022 regular proof sets today (April 7) so our shipment should arrive shortly. 2022 Proof Silver Eagles should be forthcoming soon as well. We will advise when they are in house. 2023 Redbooks are here already; we have both hardcover and spiral bound versions in stock. We're still fighting the battle of supply chain issues on certain supply items but things are loosening up in some areas. Stop in, email or give us a call with your needs and we will advise as to what is currently available and what is backordered, discontinued, replaced with a different version, etc. We are doing our utmost to keep popular items in stock but some manufacturers and suppliers are still low on inventory and/or not producing certain items just yet. Stay tuned for more updates.

Silver bullion, gold coinage and 90% silver coins are still in demand so check in with us if you're stacking silver and/or gold to see where our current inventory stands. Lots of turnover right now and very strong demand. Premiums have increased on silver eagles but we'll do what we can to keep cost as reasonable as possible.

This should go without saying but we need to say it regardless...all bullion items are available on a first-come, first served basis and there will be no holds on any bullion or bullion related items. All credit card purchases carry a 3.5% processing charge (this amount goes to the card processor, not us). We fought this for a long time but economics dictate that we must now enforce it, as does virtually every other business of our type due to the large amounts yet small margins involved with precious metals items. Debit card and cash purchases are not subject to the 3.5% charge. There is also a $5 minimum purchase if any card is used. All policy changes effective as of April 1st, 2022. Most of you already know about this but we are officially putting it in print form here. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
