Follow Up #3- US Mint Suspending Production

Greetings to our WLRC Family.

The US Mint has announced that it will continue to produce the usual coins for general circulation but it has suspended production of all numismatic items for the time being. That means that anything scheduled to be released beyond the 2020 Silver Proof Set (Apr.17 release date) is in limbo, and even then the Silver Proof Sets will be hard to get as availability is only 190,000 or so sets at present. That said, the Mint may resume production later this year. We have a standing initial order that we hope to get and will inform you of same. People who want 2020 Mint Sets or any other items not yet released are encouraged to check back with us and we will inform you as more information becomes available. It's entirely possible that some 2020 issues may end up being rare.

Westlake Rare Coins remains closed though at least April 30th as per state mandate but keep checking this blog for more updates on the evolving COVID-19 situation. Thanks for your patience and support. We will all get through this together and come out stronger on the other side.

Thanks and be well.
